    Description

1836 Two-Cents, Judd-53, Pollock-54, R.6, PR 63 PCGS. Two-cent pattern with a spread-winged eagle on the obverse and date below. The reverse features TWO CENTS in the center, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Struck in billon (90% copper, 10% silver) with a reeded edge. A curious looking piece that has a silvery appearance, quite different from the Judd-52 billon piece above. Signs of minor contact are obvious on each side with a faint streak of color or a grease stain (as struck) above the eagle.
