    1857 Quarter in Copper, Judd-188, PR 64 Brown

    1857 Quarter, Judd-188, Pollock-225, R.7, PR 64 Brown PCGS. The obverse is of the regular issue dies. The reverse, however, was laid out by Anthony Paquet and consists of a blank center surrounded by QUAR. DOL. at the bottom and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA at the top. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Each side has medium brown patina with an occasional streak of darker color around the margins.
