Description

1858 Indian Cent, Judd-212, Pollock-256, R.7, PR 62 NGC. Similar to the regular issue Indian cent but with a broad, ornamented shield at the top of the reverse. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Golden-honey color with several grade-limiting carbon spots on the obverse. Accompanied by an old, small size Henry Chapman flip that identifies the coin as: "1858 Cent Indian Head Rx Broad shield & oak wreath." Priced on the flip at $2.50.
