    Description

    1871 Pattern Standard Dime, Judd-1075

1871 Standard Dime, Judd-1075, Pollock-1211, R.7, PR 64 Red and Brown PCGS. Longacre's popular Seated Liberty motif with conjoined flags behind and Liberty's hand resting on a globe. The reverse has 10 CENTS in the center and is surrounded by a wreath of cotton and corn, the word STANDARD at the top of that side. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Much of the original red color is still brightly evident in the center of each side with a slight mellowing elsewhere. Lightly spotted on the obverse with three larger, more noticeable spots on that side that prevent the coin from grading higher. (NGC ID# 29V7, PCGS# 61075)
