    Description

NGC 1875 Twenty-Cent Piece, Judd-1407, R.6, PR 64. The obverse is similar to the adopted die but LIBERTY is incused rather than raised as on the regular issue coins. The reverse, however, is quite different with this being the famous 1/5 OF A DOLLAR reverse design. Struck in silver with a plain edge. The shimmering brilliance of the coin is overlaid with a light layer of golden-rose patina. A lovely example of this rare pattern and the first we have seen in several years. (NGC ID# CMJ6, PCGS# 61407)
