Three-Piece Set of George Morgan Designed Patterns

A Three-Piece Set of George Morgan Designed Patterns of 1879. A high grade set of three Morgan designed patterns, including the dime, quarter, and half dollar. Each coin is PCGS certified PR 66. Included are:
1879 Dime, Judd-1588, Pollock-1781, R.6-7. The obverse of this piece, as well as on the quarter and half, has the same design used on the Morgan dollar. The reverse has ONE DIME in the center and is encircled by a wreath composed of six bunches of four laurel leaves each. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Deeply reflective in the fields and mostly brilliant with a touch of light golden peripheral color.
1879 Quarter, Judd-1593, Pollock-1787, R.6-7. The obverse on this piece shares a common design with the dime and half. The reverse, however, features an erect eagle facing left with statutory legends in two rings around the central device. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Lightly toned with terrific underlying brilliance.
1879 Half Dollar, Judd-1601, Pollock-1796, R.6. The design is identical to that on the quarter, only in a larger format. Also struck in silver with a reeded edge. Similar to the coins above, this piece also is deeply mirrored in the fields and especially bright with just a smidgen of light golden color at the margins. As with the piece photographed in the Pollock reference, a small but noticeable grease stain was struck into the center of Liberty's cheek.
An unusual and very rare opportunity to acquire these three important and always-popular pattern issues. (PCGS# 61588)
