    Description

Diminutive 1881 One Cent, Judd-1666, PR 66 RB

1881 One Cent, Judd-1666, Pollock-1866, R.6-7, PR 66 Red and Brown PCGS. Barber's design for a one cent piece with the head later used on the Liberty nickel. The reverse is simple: a Roman numeral I is in the center, surrounded by a wreath of wheat and cotton. Struck in copper with a plain edge. The iridescent overtones of blue and purple on this deeply mirrored, diminutive pattern are indeed spectacular. (PCGS# 61666)
