    Description

NGC 1836 Gold Dollar, Judd-69, R.8. PR 63. The identical design to the Judd-67 just offered, struck in silver with traces of gilt surfaces from the mint. Considered a probable restrike by Judd. The surfaces are well toned with steely-blue and violet accents within the rays on the obverse. One of just 2 pieces graded by NGC (11/92), the other being an incredible PR 66 specimen.

    Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 60069)
