    Description

Ferdinand VI 8 Reales 1753-C, KM40, superb VF+, lightly toned and very attractive, struck on a very round planchet which suggests that this is possibly a ROYAL STRIKE. The details are very bold, and include the readable ordinal VI of the King's title in the reverse legend. Whether this is a rejected royal presentation coin or simply an incredible example of this series will be left to the buyer's discretion. As a royal, this coin would be worth several times our conservative estimate.
