Republic gold 8 Scudos 1851MF, KM110, very rare one-year type with the non-laureate bust, bold AU, extremely well-struck, no planchet flaws, but mounted at one time and expertly repaired at the top of the obverse. The surfaces are dulled from an associated cleaning. We cannot remember seeing another example of this type in the market for quite some time.Auction Info
