This lot comprises Eric P. Newman's primary batch of corrections and changes, being made after the book had been laid out by the publisher. Lot consists of one sheet representing the text of the inside dust-jacket, followed by 416 printed-out illustrated pages (one page per leaf) of this laid-out version, with occasional handwritten changes in red ink. The "Almost Final Negative Page Prints as Published," according to a handwritten note on the paper box holding the sheets. This lot comprises Eric P. Newman's final batch of corrections and changes, being made at this point to laid-out pages otherwise ready to be printed. Lot consists of five sheets of corrections and revisions written out by hand by Newman, followed by 416 printed out illustrated pages (one page per leaf) of this near-final version, with occasional handwritten changes in red ink. Materials generally fine. Unique.
