Alfonso VI Counterstamped 300 Reis ND (1668) Fine Details (Edge Filing) NGC, KM18.1, LMB-86, Gomes-03.02. Type III crowned "300" countermark (XF Standard), struck on Spanish colonial 4 Reales. A revalidated issue with earlier type I crowned "240" countermark, dating to just 25 years prior, the crown partially obscured by the most recent counterstamp.
