Alfonso VI Counterstamped 50 Reis ND (1663) VF25 NGC, KM22, LMB-34, Gomes-39.05. Type IV crowned "50" countermark (XF Standard), struck on a Portuguese João IV 40 Reis from the Evora mint. Evenly circulated with a fully struck and well-placed counterstamp, displaying dark iridescence to an otherwise pearl-gray surface.
