Joao V 10000 Reis 1724-M, KM116, Russo-244, Gomes-104.01, AU55 NGC, slight rub on the towers, crown shows no sign of circulation and neither does the reverse. The 1724 10000 Reis is one of the most popular and sought after pieces of colonial Brazil and Portugal with only a few pieces surfacing every decade. Heritage sold a cleaned XF piece in May of 2008 for $34,500. The RLM piece of course is several steps above.
