A superior Bahia mint Dobra of 1730
Joao V gold 12800 Reis 1730-B, KM141, Russo-101, Gomes-135.03, AU50 NGC. Closing the 2nd Shield Type set is the 1730 issue. Small and light adjustment marks across date and mint mark. Light circulation but fully original surfaces and quite superior to the few (two pieces) we have seen in recent years. Certainly a prize coin.From The RLM Collection
