Description

João V gold 6400 Reis 1743-B MS64 NGC, Bahia mint, KM151, LMB-143. Brilliant and frosted surfaces are on full display, exhibiting near-Gem Mint State levels of preservation. A flashy specimen to say the least, and even the minor adjustment marks situated across João's portrait, a common feature of this series, don't detract from the overall appeal of this representative. Currently tied for the finest at either major grading service with the example we offered in January of 2019, from the Paulistana Collection.
