Full "SABARA" on the counterstamp

Joao VI Prince Regent gold Ingot of Sabara 1813, Prober #1813-S-3523, 29.9 grams. Assayer JPP - Jose Pinto Pereira.

In 1969, Kurt Prober examined this bar citing this in his 1990 publication, The Sabara Foundry countermark features the baroque shield of Portugal with the word "SABARA" underneath. Features are partially visible as as the countermark's diameter is slightly larger than the ingot's field.
