    Description

    Jose I gold 4000 Reis 1775-(L) MS62 NGC, Lisbon mint (no mintmark on the coin), KM171.4, Russo-335A. The "BRASILIE" spelling error variety. Quite lustrous and attractive for the designation, with a good strike and handling marks commensurate with it. The handsome reddish toning enhances this specimen's eye-appeal, making for a desirable type coin. Scarce in this preservation.
