    Description

Jose I gold 6400 Reis 1759-B, KM172.1, AU58 NGC, beautiful coin with bold luster around the legends and outer fields turning into a subdued patina when moving towards the center of the coin and bust of Jose I. Incredible ornate details on the king's hair an face, a strong strike that is seldom seen on coins struck at the Bahia mint. A couple of very faint adjustment marks mainly seen around the lower part of the bust and the "B" mint mark.
