Pedro I 960 Reis 1826-R AU58 PCGS, Rio de Janeiro mint,
KM368.1, LMB-507a. Overstruck on a Minas Gerais countermarked 960
Reis, originally struck over a Spanish Colonial 8 Reales. An
ever-popular, scarce host for 960 collectors, this piece shows a
clear Minas stamp on both sides, even though the overtype was
rendered with a balanced strike. Uniformly toned with a pleasing
cabinet patina, this piece will likely garner the attention of
advanced Brazilian type Collectors.Metal: Silver
