Pedro II gold 4000 Reis 1699-(R) AU50 NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM98, LMB-31e, Guimaraes-1699-4a. Second type. "PORTVG.REX? (inverted ?)" variety. Struck with a Bahia obverse combined with a Rio reverse, this well-defined piece shows wholly original surfaces with minimal highpoint wear and silhouette toning.
