Republic gold 10000 Reis 1906 UNC Details (Cleaned) NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM496, LMB-700, Guimaraes-1906-12.1. Mintage: 572. Likely cleaned long ago judging by the lovely honeycomb patina that has developed upon the uncirculated peripheries. Decidedly scarce, the present offering is only the second appearance of such date in the last 20 years, the other piece being RLM's AU58.From the Petropolis Collection, Part III
