João Prince Regent gold 4000 Reis 1813-(B) MS64 PCGS, Bahia
mint, KM235.1, LMB-551. Mintage: 10,500. A remarkable survivor of
this scarce issue. Deeply rendered motifs occupy lustrous,
velveteen fields in this fresh piece. Only the third example to hit
major auction floors, with the nicest example being the RLM piece,
which graded UNC details. The finest example recorded by either NGC
or PCGS.Metal: Gold
