    Description

Pedro I gold 4000 Reis 1827/6-R, KM369.1, Russo-597, XF Details - Edge Filing NGC. A major rarity in the RLM Collection and missing from nearly all specialized collections that have sold over the last several decades. An example that faces up incredibly well with some light softening of Peter's epaulet and hair curls, but otherwise, surfaces that hold few marks and actually shows some of the original luster. The filing, confined entirely to a small portion of rim around 9 o'clock, holds little visual affect. A considerable opportunity for the specialist, and possibly the only comparable offering for the next decade.
