Description
1913-D 5C Type One MS67 NGC. Type One nickels from the Denver Mint are known for their sharp detail, and this Superb Gem is no exception. The textured surfaces have pleasing luster and moderately thick gold patina. Hardly any marks appear on either side, though a "chin whiskers" die clash is visible on the obverse. NGC has certified just 15 pieces in this grade, with none finer (7/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22PX, PCGS# 3916, GSID# 3101)
