Description

1914-D 5C MS65 PCGS. A scarce and highly respected issue that has traditionally been linked to the 1914-D cent. While not as difficult as that key date issue, the '14-D nickel is elusive in high grades and with problem-free surfaces. The reverse of this piece is especially well defined, and there is just the slightest bit of softness noted above the Indian's braid on the obverse. The original gray patina has soft olive undertones, and the surfaces are almost free of marks.(Registry values: N1793)
