Description

Lustrous MS66 1915-S Buffalo Nickel

1915-S 5C MS66 PCGS. Ex: ADM Collection. One of the scarcer issues among the early Buffalo nickels. Unlike most examples seen, this piece is sharply defined on both obverse and reverse. The surfaces have a pronounced matte-like texture with an overlay of mint frost. Even golden toning completes the picture of this superior example with the slightest accent of lilac on the highpoints. Population: 28 in 66, 3 finer (8/07).(Registry values: N2998)
