Description
Superb Gem 1916 Buffalo Nickel
1916 5C MS67 PCGS. CAC. The 1916 is a nice, early type coin and one that can be located in a wide variety of grades. At the MS67 level it is naturally an elusive issue. Only 20 coins have been so graded at both major services (10 at each), and there is only one coin certified finer (4/09). This is an especially well struck example. The surfaces are mostly brilliant, and there is just the slightest overlay of pale golden color on each side.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22RA, PCGS# 3930, GSID# 3081)
