Rare Plus-Designated Example
1916-S 5C MS65+ PCGS. Subtle iridescence accents the satiny
luster of this Plus-graded Gem 1916-S nickel. A few ebony flecks
are noted on the obverse, but no major abrasions are seen. This San
Francisco issue is only occasionally available in MS65 and is
notably scarcer in better grades. Population: 5 in 65+, 53 finer
