Description

Attractive Near-Gem 1919-D Buffalo Nickel

1919-D 5C MS64 PCGS. The first of many strike rarities in the Buffalo nickel series. This is an above average example that shows uniform softness over the devices, but no localized area deserves mention. The silver-gray surfaces are nicely frosted and there is evidence of considerable metal flow toward the rims on each side.(Registry values: N1793)
