Description

Bold 1919-D Nickel, MS66

1919-D 5C MS66 NGC. Despite a generous mintage of over 8 million pieces, the 1919-D nickel is a famous condition rarity in its series, since poor strikes and weak luster abound. This is a remarkably attractive example with substantially above-average definition and attractive quicksilver luster. Lovely rose, orange, and blue patina graces each side. Census: 6 in 66, 0 finer (6/10).
