1919-S Nickel, Pearlescent Near-Gem
1919-S 5C MS64 PCGS. CAC. The obverse is fully struck, while the reverse shows softness on the bison's head, shoulder, and tail -- a common occurrence among 1919-S representatives. Softly frosted pearlescent surfaces are minimally marked for the Choice assessment, with small ticks well-hidden within the Indian's hair detail. Glints of rose and lavender appear throughout, furthering the eye appeal. PCGS lists just 34 submissions finer (2/16).From The Indian Rocks Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
