1920 Nickel, Lustrous MS67
Lightly Toned and Attractive
1920 5C MS67 PCGS. A brightly lustrous Superb Gem example of
this Philadelphia issue, tied for finest in the combined PCGS and
NGC certified populations. Both sides display attractive,
nickel-gray color with faint accents of lilac and rose. A mint-made
strike-through begins below a feather and rises through it, serving
as a pedigree marker. Population: 18 in 67, 0 finer (11/18).Ex: The Oliver Collection / Chicago Signature (Heritage, 8/2011), lot 3445; Houston Signature / Leon Hendrickson Collection (Heritage, 12/2015), lot 3063, where it realized $6,462.50.
