Luminous Near-Gem 1920-S Buffalo Nickel
1920-S 5C MS64 NGC. Shades of golden-rose greet the viewer on both sides of this lustrous near-Gem coin. Gem examples of this issue are quite rare. This piece shows few contact marks, but the strike on the reverse, in particular, is typically weak. Nonetheless, the generous luster and well-preserved surfaces should make this piece an attractive acquisition.
