Beautiful 1921 Buffalo Nickel, MS67

1921 5C MS67 ★ NGC. This absolutely splendid Buffalo nickel will impress even the most diehard veteran collector with its indisputably high visual appeal and overall technical quality. David Lange (2006) makes note of the better-than-average production quality of the 1921 Buffalo nickel, when he says: "1921(P) nickels are typically of higher quality than most entries in this series." This statement is confirmed by the amazingly full detail on this specimen, especially over the centers. It is immaculately preserved, and the small die chips in the obverse fields are mint-made. Lovely steel-green, gold, and crimson coloration enhances the eye appeal of the piece. Census: 3 in 67 ★ , 0 finer (5/08). (Registry values: N2998)
