Description

1923 5C MS66 PCGS. The satiny, blemish-free surfaces display faint touches of die rust, under low magnification. Both sides are boldly struck save for typical weakness on the center of the obverse and the bison's hair. This Philadelphia issue is a common date, but Premium Gem and finer examples are scarce, and just 14 coins are rated higher by PCGS (10/14).(Registry values: N1793)
