Description

1923 Nickel, Iridescent MS67
Top-Grade Registry Coin

1923 5C MS67 PCGS. The 1923 Buffalo nickel is rare in Superb Gem condition, and the present MS67 coin is among the finest known. The beautifully preserved surfaces yield rich satin luster with subtle iridescence throughout. The strike is a trifle soft on the bison's shoulder and the hair above the Indian's braid, but the overall sharpness is above average for the issue. Population: 33 in 67 (6 in 67+), 1 finer (4/23).
