Not Sold Description
1923-S 5C MS64 PCGS. In some ways, this Choice Mint State nickel is typical for its issue. Both sides exhibit significant die wear and a soft strike, as well as the soft luster that characterizes so many branch mint issues of the 1920s. Yet the pale rose, gray, and gold patina of this piece allows its eye appeal to overcome such flaws. (Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22RW, PCGS# 3950, GSID# 3123)
