1925-D Buffalo Nickel, MS65
Original Green-Gold Toning
1925-D 5C MS65 PCGS. The 1925-D is much scarcer than its
Philadelphia counterpart, especially in lofty Mint State grades.
The present coruscating Gem displays unmarked surfaces and
attractive olive-gold toning. The dies were long in use, thus the
high points show minor blending and the field near E PLURIBUS UNUM
has an orange-peel texture.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22S3, PCGS# 3955, GSID# 3126)
