Sharply Defined MS65 1925-D Buffalo Nickel
1925-D 5C MS65 PCGS. Ex: ADM Collection. This particular coin could lead one to conclude that strike is not a problem on this issue. Just the opposite is the case, as is well known to specialists. However, the reverse is unusually well defined with sharp definition on the bison's head and tail. The obverse shows just a bit of softness. Simply outstanding definition for this issue. The mint luster tends more to the frosted side than the expected satiny variant. Lightly and attractively toned. Just a lovely, problem-free piece in all regards. Population: 71 in 65, 3 finer (8/07).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22S3, PCGS# 3955, GSID# 3126)
