Fully Lustrous 1925-S Nickel, MS64
1925-S 5C MS64 PCGS. Fully lustrous beneath milky lilac-gray and golden patina, with a typically soft strike, especially in the hair on the bison's head. A few minute marks are undisturbing. Primarily because of the characteristic striking deficiency, Gem examples of the 1925-S are among the most difficult in the Buffalo nickel series. In this regard, PCGS has seen only 20 Gem-quality coins (8/07).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22S4, PCGS# 3956, GSID# 3127)
