Delicately Toned Gem Uncirculated 1926-D Nickel
1926-D 5C MS65 PCGS. The 1926-D is among the half dozen or so most difficult strike rarities in the Buffalo Nickel series. The exceptional Gem offered here is very sharply defined for a '26-D, with some detail showing at the top of the buffalo's head and a split in the tail. The surfaces are clean and virtually carbon-free with smooth, satiny luster beneath delicate ice-blue, rose, and golden toning seen across both sides.(#3958) (Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22S6, PCGS# 3958, GSID# 3128)
