Lustrous Semi-Key 1927-S Buffalo Nickel, MS64
1927-S 5C MS64 NGC. With the eighth lowest mintage for the Buffalo nickel series, the 1927-S is considered a semi-key issue. Warm gray coloration covers lustrous surfaces, with darker accents and a hint of ice-blue on the lower reverse. Though softly struck in the centers, this example shows no marks worthy of mention. Scarce in Choice Uncirculated; NGC has certified just 20 coins finer (8/08).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22SA, PCGS# 3962, GSID# 3131)
