Description
1928-D 5C MS65 PCGS. This Gem Buffalo nickel is lustrous and well preserved, with light greenish-gray toning that yields to antique-gold and iridescent accents near the periphery. Boldly struck except on the top of the bison's head. The '28-D is readily obtainable in MS63 and MS64 condition, but becomes scarce above that level.
