Description
1928-D 5C MS 65 PCGS. The '28-D Buffalo is readily obtainable in MS 63 and MS 64 condition, but above that level its often mushy strike and average luster leave the quantity of Gems substantially reduced. This exceptional piece is struck with runaway sharpness for a '28-D, although short of the intricate detail of a '38-D. Very lustrous with a light gold cast that accents the bright surfaces.
