Important Gem 1928-S Nickel
1928-S 5C MS65 NGC. Light nickel-gray central color with gold-orange peripheral tints, all over quicksilver luster. The strike is uncommonly sharp for this poorly produced San Francisco issue, though even this coin is not immune to slight softness on the bison's shoulder.
