Description
Desirable MS65 1928-S Nickel
1928-S 5C MS65 PCGS. The 1928-S is one of several issues of its decade notorious for a soft strike, but as this Gem proves, there are exceptions. The bison's head and horn are particularly well-defined. Light nickel-gray surfaces have quicksilver luster and occasional elements of olive-gold toning near the rims. PCGS has graded five finer pieces (4/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22SD, PCGS# 3965, GSID# 3133)
