Description

1929 5C MS66 PCGS. Lovely steel-blue toning covers both sides, and the only minor striking weakness is seen on the very tops of the upper reverse letters, and above the Indian's hair knot. Each side displays just one small contact mark, on the Indian's cheekbone and on the bison's shoulder, respectively. The pleasing satin-like luster is very even on each side. Scarce at the current grade level, and only three pieces have been certified finer by PCGS (5/08).
