1937-D Nickel, CAC-Approved MS64
Three-Legged Guide Book Variety
1937-D 5C Three-Legged, FS-901, MS64 PCGS. CAC. Perhaps the
most impressive aspect of this Three-Legged nickel is the bright,
satiny mint luster. It is particularly noticeable because the
toning is so light, which allows the full flash of the sheen over
each side. The strike is particularly strong for the issue also,
and there are minimal abrasions present.Ex: Central States Signature (Heritage, 4/2012), lot 3671.
