Near-Gem 1937-D Three-Legged Buffalo
1937-D 5C Three-Legged MS64 PCGS. FS-901, formerly FS-020.2. An unabraded and satiny Choice example of this key Guide Book variety. Dove-gray and caramel-gold blend throughout each side. All diagnostics are present, such as the trail of die dots beneath the flank and a granular appearance on the bison's back leg.Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2007), lot 788, which realized $8,200.
